Soft Landing is a collaboration between Netherlands-based jazz guitarist, Piotr Lipowicz, and Viennese singer-songwriter, drummer and a veteran of Austrian alternative scene, Guenther Paulitsch. It strives to fulfill a longing for a certain feeling. A vivid feeling that seems almost tangible, yet is very elusive and indescribable by words or pictures. Only sound appears to create an environment in which this feeling materializes and can be sustained. Laid-back beats and ethereal melodies, around which ambitions from the jazz and singer-songwriter universe dance amidst the city lights is what defines the sound of Soft Landing. Using their own musical recipes, notes and wavelengths the band invites the listeners to explore that feeling together.
